    Learn to sew your own clothes, starting with this uncomplicated garment - just four seams and a hem. The neck is finished with a bias tape facing. Students will learn how to cut pattern pieces, finish seams and make their own bias tape.

  • Dress no. 1

    Learn how to make the garment that started it all! Dress no. 1 is a sleeveless dress with a wearable A-line silhouette. The neck and armholes are finished with bias tape, while patch pockets add flair and utility.

    Take the mystery out of sewing sleeves! Dress no. 2 is a basic garment with set in sleeves and a slight A-line silhouette. The neck is finished with bias tape and there are options to finish with patch or in-seam pockets.

    Learn to sew your own clothes, starting with a knee-length bias cut skirt. This simple garment is just three seams and a hem! The class will cover how to cut pattern pieces on the bias, finish seams and making an elastic waistband.

  • Tunic no. 1

    Who doesn't love a tunic? This easy to wear garment with dropped-shoulder sleeves comes in two length options: cropped at the waist or skimming the thighs. The neck is finished with bias tape and a handy patch pocket.

    This workshop will dive head-first into sewing with knit fabric. The shirt can be made with short or long sleeves and the scoop neck is finished with a fabric band. Students will learn how to cut pattern pieces, sew seams, attach sleeves and hem edges.

  • Put a pocket on it!

    Pockets are useful things. Using a fat quarter of fabulous fabric, they are also a great way to add panache to your clothes. In this class students will learn an easy technique to make patch pockets with options to add a facing band in contrasting fabric.

  • Bias tape demystified

    Does bias tape make you break into cold sweat? Discover what you need for success and how to easily apply it to your sewing projects. In this class students will learn how to make their own bias tape and use it as a contrasting edging on a pair of pockets.
