Talk at New England Farm and Fiber Festival 2025

Here’s the talk I gave at the New England Farm and Fiber Festival. Listening to myself talk isn’t one of my favorite things, so I made use of the transcript feature and quite liked this little pearl:

But I do find, myself, that making things gives me that sort of time, that there's that iterative repetitive motion and doing things over and over again. That it is a soothing meditative process, that idea of getting in flow, where we're not all on our heads and thinking about like, "Oh! What am I going to do next? What am I going to do next?" That our hands take over, our minds quiet. And I really have always found that craft affords me that.
